Mobile Sound Viewer MSV
Mobile Sound Viewer is the first fully portable acoustic camera which can locate in real time the location in space from where the most important sound come.
The location accuracy is about one centimeter when the measurement is close and a few tens of centimeters when measured farthest. It is possible to save pictures or videos just to communicate with other contacts.
Benefits
- Visualization of the acoustic spot on the real-time video.
- Ready to use right out of the bag
- Detects the usual noises, short noises like shock, special tone
- Very compact
Specifications
- Sample frequency 12 kHz, 16 bits
- 60 minutes data storage
- Capacitive Touch Screen with 1280x800 pixels resolution
- Internal battery (4 hours in continuous use, 1 day in normal use)
- 8 microphones 20Hz to 20 000Hz (200-4000 Hz by software limitation)
- Auto-focus optical system
- 4 acoustic image /second
- Usual noise detection
- Detect also short noise (shock)
- Selection of particular sounds by listening
- Auto focus (0.2 to 5 m)
- Measurement distance (0.2 to 50 m)
- Sonometer
- Recordings (photos, videos)
- Saturation alert
- Composite fiber shell
- Weight 0.5 kg
- Dimensions:30 cm x 20 cm x 3 cm
3 versions
- 1. only show the more important noises
- 2. add the possibility to filter out noise to detect particular tone sounds like wheezing
- 3. the high-end MSV add the possibilty to locate short noises like clicks or shocks

Analysis Sound Viewer (ASV), Post processing software for MSV
Analysis Sound Viewer is the acoustic imaging software to analyse data saved from Mobile Sound Viewer. Datafile from MSV includes video in order to synchronize pictures and acoustic maps at everytime. Analysis Sound Viewer provides spectrum of hotspot coming from sound source. User can see acoustic video too in according to low and high filter bands.
Advantages
- Spectrum of the acoustic source
- Listen on the microphone and the acoustic map via mouse cursor
- Synchronization of video and acoustic map at everytime.
- Calculation of acoustic level in dB of the source
- Graphic vizualization of time signal
- Spectrogram
- Principal source localization
- Acoustic image in dB
- Acoustic Video
- Spectrum of source (Lin, octav, 1/3 octav)

Sound level meter Testo 815
The instrument can be used to monitor accurately and quickly, noise in heating technique or air conditioning, nightclubs, machinery or combustion plants.
By using the "FAST SLOW" button, the measurement time can be set from 1 second to 125 ms, to better determine the source of the noise. The frequency can be analyzed through two characteristic curves A and C. Curve A corresponds to the noise sensation of the human ear. Curve C is used when it is necessary to also measure in the field of low frequencies.
With the help of a calibrator (optional), the measuring instrument can be calibrated directly on site with the supplied screwdriver. The cap protection included at delivery can be used against wind, allows correct measurement results when measurements are made on the outside and it can also protect the microphone from dirt and dust.
- Measurement range: 32-130 dB
- Measuring ranges: 30 to 80 dB; 50 to 100 dB; 80 to 130 dB
- Frequency: 31.5 Hz to 8 kHz
- Variable time constant of 125 ms (fast) and 1 s (slow)
- Influence of pressure: -0.0016 dB / hPa
- Accuracy: ± 1 digit, ± 1.0 dB
- Resolution 0.1 dB
- Temperature 0 to +40 ° C
- Storage temperature -10 to +60 ° C
- Battery type 9V
