The Lab UCI Pro is a next-generation portable hardness tester built on an advanced Ultrasonic Contact Impedance (UCI) technology. The device delivers a new level of measurement accuracy, stability, and usability, setting a higher standard for UCI hardness testing in both laboratory and field applications.
The new technology and probe design significantly minimize operator influence and ensure highly repeatable results, even when testing complex-shaped components, thin parts, and surface-hardened layers.
This Hardness Tester is a fully standalone hardness tester with a built-in high-contrast display and intuitive controls. All essential measurement functions — including hardness scales and material selection — are available directly on the instrument, while connection to a smartphone enables advanced features such as calibration, extended settings, data analysis, reporting, and storage.
It allows hardness testing on almost any objects — from large components to very small parts weighing just a few grams, and thin plates about 1 mm thick. It can also measure coatings and surface-hardened layers where traditional methods cannot be applied. The indenter penetration depth is only a few microns, so the surface is almost not damaged.
