Rapid test for antibiotics in milk TriTest BTS

Rapid test to determine antibiotics in milk.

Categories: ,

Description

Tritest BTS Test Kit β-Lactams & Tetracyclines & Sulfonamides is a two-step 10 minutes rapid qualitative test that allows to simultaneously detect and discriminate the presence of β-lactam, tetracycline and sulfonamide residues in a sample of raw cow’s milk. The test kit is designed for incubation at room temperature and can therefore be used without any instrument.

It utilizes the high affinity antibodies and capture protein against sulfonamides, tetrayclines and beta-lactams antibiotics, which can easily identify these potential hazardous substances in milk without any instrument.

Operation

1. Bring all test samples to room temperature. (The optimum temperature for test is 20-25°C.)

2. Bring the test kit and samples to room temperature. Milk samples should be fully liquid without any agglomeration and deposition.

3. Take out required wells and strips from the bottle, and make proper marks. Use the test strips within 1h. Seal the cap of the bottles and store the rest of the unused kit.

4. Put the wells on the heater. Take 200ul of the milk sample into the microwell, then repeatedly absorb up and
down for 5 times to mix the sample with the reagent in the wells completely. The mixture should be pink.
Note: In case you are sampling with plastic pipet, add sample to the MARKER LINE on the microwell.

5. Incubate for 5min at room temperature, and then insert the test strip into the well with the “Immersed” end fully dipped in to the mixed reagent and sample for 5min at room temperature

6. Take out the strip; determine the result according the manual.

7. Possibility to quantify the antibiotic concentration with the special NBReader Q3 system  or NBReader Fast 2

Included in the kit

  • In each test kit, there are 12 tubes, 1 microwell holder, 1 instruction, 100pcs of pipettes
  • Positive control and negative control
  • In each tube, there are 8 test strips and 8 microwell reagents. In total 96 tests are included.

Store at 2-8 °C in cool dark place, do not freeze. The kit is valid for 12 months after manufacture date.
