Description
The analyzer measures pH, total acidity, volatile acidity, free and total SO2 in wines, musts, alcoholic beverages, and vinegars. It is available in three versions:
- Measurement of pH, total acidity, and volatile acidity in distillate
- Measurement of free and total SO2
- Measurement of pH, total acidity, volatile acidity in distillate, and free and total SO2
It can be combined with a sample changer (maximum 14 samples).
Iodometric SO2 measurement
Using a double platinum electrode that detects the appearance of an electric current in the sample, the instrument performs the titration and automatically stops when the iodide/iodate oxidizing solution is in excess. The instrument calculates the result according to the selected program (free or total SO2) and displays it directly on the screen in a few seconds.
Acidity and pH measurement
This instrument is designed to determine pH and to quantify total acidity directly, as well as volatile acidity after extraction. It eliminates the difficulty of interpreting the color change at the end of the titration and offers optimal precision and reproducibility of results.
