Coating thickness and Material thickness

The thickness measuring devices presented are essentially of 2 types. First of all, coating thickness measuring devices, such as paints or plastic film. The second type of device makes it possible to measure the thickness of a material (the thickness of a metal plate for example). Some devices (echo-echo type) allow to subtract the thickness of a layer of paint and only measure the thickness of the underlying material.
