Expell line of cryovials is revolutionary! With a volume of 0.5mL they are the smallest volume cryovials available on the market, enabling you efficient storage of small samples. Moreover, these cryogenic vials are one of the only external thread cryovials suitable for storage on boxes with 10 x 10 dividers. Compared to the conventional external thread cryogenic vials, which can only fit a 9 x 9 rack, you save up to 23% on your storage capacity. When working with Capp Expell 0.5mL cryo vials, you can even store two 10 x 10 cryoboxes on the top of each other, doubling your storage capacity! The cryo vials are available in 5 sizes: 0.5mL, 1.0mL, 2.0mL, 4.0mL and 5.0mL and sterilized after ISO 11137-2:2013 – Sterility Assurance Level (SAL) by standard products 10-6.
Both the caps and the cryo tubes are made of specially formulated polypropylene, having the same coefficient of expansion and therefore enhancing the leak proof qualities at various temperatures. Expell cryo tubes come packed in re-sealable stand-up pouches, saving benchtop space. They are suitable for storage in the vapor phase of liquid nitrogen.
