Description
Santoprene®*; 55 +/-5 Shore A; density = 0.96 g/cm³; light beige; compliant: FDA 21 CFR §177.2600, NSF51, global migration according to EU 10/2011 and EG 1935/2004; very good chemical resistance to aqueous media, acids, bases and many organic solvents, especially ketones, esters, ethers and aldehydes; Temperature range -45 °C to +135 °C, short term +150 °C; Fatigue strength: approx. 80 million flexions (depending on dimension and device). 3000 hours of service life tested with 4.8×1.6 mm (OD=8.0) tubing in a 3-roller peristaltic pump at 150 rpm.
Particularly suitable for peristaltic pumps with low motor power (power) hose pumps in laboratories and in pharmacy, medicine, chemistry, biology, filling technology, in the cosmetics, food and beverage industry, in machine and device construction.
