Description
Thermoplastic elastomer (Santoprene®*); 65 +/-5 Shore A; density = 0.92 g/cm³; light beige; compliant: FDA 21 CRF §177.2600 (e), biocompatible according to USP class VI and fulfills the global migration according to EU 10/2011 and EG 1935/2004; very good chemical resistance to aqueous media, acids, bases and many organic solvents, especially ketones, esters, ethers and aldehydes; tasteless and odorless; Temperature range -45°C to +135 °C, briefly 150 °C possible; Fatigue resistance: approx. 30 million flexions (depending on dimensions and device) 1200 hours of service life tested with hose 4.8×1.6 mm (OD=8.0) in a hose pump with 3 rollers at 150 rpm.
Particularly suitable for peristaltic pumps for hose pumps in the laboratory, in pharmacy, medicine, chemistry, biology, bottling technology, in the cosmetics, food and beverage industry, in wine production.
