Thermoplastic elastomer type TPE-S; 58 +/-5 Shore A; density = 0.89 g/cm³; translucent; compliant: FDA 21 CRF §177.2600, specific migration according to EU 10/2011 and EG 1935/2004, biocompatible according to USP class VI; very good chemical resistance to aqueous media, acids, bases and many organic solvents such as ketones, esters, ethers and aldehydes; tasteless and odorless; Temperature range -50 °C to +125 °C, short-term +140 °C possible; Fatigue strength: approx. 75 million flexions (depending on dimension and device).
