Description
This magnetic stirrer is suitable for volumes up to 20 l (H2O) and can reach temperatures up to 310°C. Thanks to the possibility of connecting an external temperature sensor (PT 1000.60 included in delivery), the temperature can be measured and monitored directly in the reaction medium.
Thanks to the perfect isolation of the aluminum heating plate, the EC motor and the electronically commutated power supply, the RCT basic offers excellent energy efficiency and reduces self-heating of the heating plate during stirring.

Safety: The RCT basic incorporates the proven safety features of IKA magnetic stirrers. In compliance with DIN EN 61010-2-010, it meets all safety requirements for laboratory equipment designed to heat substances, and is therefore also suitable for unattended operation.

- Safety circuit for heating plate temperature setting (with tool)
- Confirmation mode (operating mode D) prevents unintentional setpoint changes. When restarting, confirmation of the safety temperature is required.
- Automatic shutdown of the temperature control function if the connected external temperature sensor is not immersed in the medium or is not working properly.
