Description

Medusa Multiplier is a fungal cellulase produced by submerged fermentation of strain of Trichoderma ressei. The product also contains rich carbohydrase activity. Medusa Multiplier is a food enzyme which complies with Food Chemical Code recommended spécifications for food grade enzymati product ans is in accordance with recommandations given by the FAO/WHO’S Joint Expert Committee for Food additives (JECFA).

Application

It is used as a processing aid in the extraction of valuable components from a broad range of vegetable substrate. Due to its multicomponent nature, increases the extraction yield of useful products of plant origin like extraction of olive oïl.

Dosage

For initial trials in extraction a dosage of 1 % w/w (based on raw material dry matter) of solution is recommended. This dosage can be reduced when process is optimized.
