Description

Once in the laboratory, the solid samples must be homogenized and separated. Labplas FILTRA-BAGs are perfect for use in a homogenizer.

Filter bags for Labplas FILTRA-BAG mixers have a design that makes it easy to take aliquot with samples containing a lot of residue and / or semi-solid / solid substances. When adding the aliquot to the culture medium, it is essential that the volume of aliquot is precise and free of any solid. This prevents blocking of the pipettes and uneven dispensing.
External polyethylene / PET membrane which eliminates any risk of piercing the walls of the bag during grinding
Filter membrane with 1840 holes per square inch with a pore diameter of 330 microns to ensure optimal passage between the compartments during grinding

How to use the sampling bag

  • Insert the solid sample on the printed side of the FILTRA-BAG
  • Pass the bag through a full cycle of homogenizer
  • Insert the pipette on the clear side of the bag and take the aliquot.
