Description
The shing furnace AAF models 11/3 & 11/7, which are intelligently designed to draw a continuous flow of preheated air through the furnace chamber, comply with the following industry standards for ashing: ISO 1171:2010, ASTM D3174-04: 2010 and ASTM D4422.
Standard equipment
- Maximum temperatures up to 1100 °C
- Carbolite Gero 301 controller with ramp, setpoint and process timer function
- Large chamber base allows a large number of samples to be placed
- Ideal for incinerating food, plastics, coal and other hydrocarbon-containing materials
- The following industry standards for incineration are complied with: ISO 1171:2010, ASTM D3174-04: 2010 and ASTM D4422
- The resistance wire heating elements are optimally protected from chemical and mechanical damage by a dense ceramic muffle
- Heating elements on four sides of the chamber (left, right, top, bottom)
- Special fresh air supply for approx. 4-5 air changes / minute
- Due to the low height of the chamber, the air flow passes directly over the samples and ensures optimal combustion
- Powerful heating elements with graduated winding reduce heat loss due to the high Air exchange
- Preheated supply air for optimal temperature distribution
- Inconel bowls with removable handle
Options
- Wide range of digital PID controllers, program controllers and recorders with various digital interfaces
- Digital overtemperature protection (recommended for unattended use), freely adjustable, to protect the device and valuable sample material
- Additional Inconel insert trays on request
