Principle of the pump
The scroll pump is based on almost unknown mechanics which uses two spirals. One spiral is stationary and the other one rotates around. It gradually generates series of closed compartments with decreasing volume and increasing pressure. The transport of gas or liquid is smooth and progressive. The multiple mechanical closure through the contact of both spirals results in very good pressure stability. This means that the final pressure does not decrease with the flow rate as is usual in other pump types. The scroll principle has been invented hundred years ago. However it could not be produced without modern numerically controlled machines. Scroll system has been selected because of its inherent quality features:
