Description

It is the waterproof version of the Oxybase probe.

The range is 0 – 100 % O2, with a detection limit of 0.03 % O2. These probes are waterproof and can be submerged completely. Furthermore, their stainless-steel housing has an additional plastic cover which offers protection against environmental impacts. This makes the probes ideally suited for long-term outdoor use in e. g. environmental research applications or aquaculture.

These probes have RS485 as digital interface (OXYBase® WR-RS485-SW = PreSens proprietary, OXYBase® WR-RS485M-SW = Modbus RTU) and are connected directly to the control unit. A serial communication protocol is offered for data exchange between the OXYBase® and a PC or other host unit. The probes are available with various cable lengths, and their sensor is integrated in a removable sensor cap (OEC). The sensor is not autoclavable.
