Description

The VisiTrace mA and RS485 probes are designed to measure dissolved oxygen in the low concentration range, particularly in brewing applications, including during filtration and filling. The advantages of these optical dissolved oxygen sensors are fast response time and low maintenance. Improvements over conventional electrochemical (amperometric) sensors include flow independence, fast start-up with no polarization time, and simplified maintenance. Monitoring in low ppb ranges is essential in many applications such as brewing processes and power plants. VisiTrace mA features HART and wireless communication via Bluetooth directly from the sensor to your computer, simplifying calibration, configuration and maintenance. VisiTrace RS485 requires an Arc Wi adapter for wireless communication.

This dissolved oxygen sensor is also for measurements in boiler water where there is a high level of chloride, the effect of oxygen corrosion is increased. VisiTrace mA is ATEX and IECEx approved.

This type of probe can also be used in biotechnology to measure the O2 concentration in bioreactors (different measurement ranges are available).
