You can connect directly the sensors (like temperature sensors) and devices to control (like valves, pumps,&#8230;). You can configurate the system yourself without any knowledge of computer languages thanks to the user interface (<a href=\"https:\/\/sysmatec.ch\/eG1_Siam.html\">Siam<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Typical applications<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>fermentation<\/li>\n<li>control of chemical reactions<\/li>\n<li>quality control<\/li>\n<li>automatisation of measurements at laboratory-, pilotplant- and production-scale<\/li>\n<li>instruction tool<\/li>\n<li>EXAO<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Advantages<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>easy to adapt to the needs of the process<\/li>\n<li>easy to learn and to use<\/li>\n<li>possibilty of following complex control strategies<\/li>\n<li>all the paramters can be visualised graphically<\/li>\n<li>storage of the data on hard or floppy disk<\/li>\n<li>data transfer to any program that uses ASCII code (spreadsheet, word processing programs,&#8230;) or direct DDE communication.<\/li>\n<li>possibility of controlling several processes at the same time, several reactors, several analytical instruments,&#8230;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Standard configuration<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li type=\"disc\">8 configurable analog inputs (0-10 V, 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA, Pt 100, thermoelement), with 24 V available for Pressure probes<\/li>\n<li type=\"disc\">4 analog configurable outputs (0-10 V, 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA), with 24 V available<\/li>\n<li type=\"disc\">4 digital inputs, with 24 V available<\/li>\n<li type=\"disc\">8 digital outputs (relay), with 24 V available<\/li>\n<li type=\"disc\">communication with the PC through RS485 interface. 16 such boxes can be connected on the same line over a distance from 800 m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We have also solutions for more specific configurations.
