The FOM series offers a temperature measurement range of -80\u00b0C to +300\u00b0C as well as an accuracy of \u00b11.0\u00b0C (+\/- 0.2\u00b0C in relative temperature).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

One of the advantages of fiber optic temperature sensing is that the sensors do not require recalibration. Fiber optic sensors have high repeatability and stability and no signal degradation due to probe\/cable length.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Temperature measurement data can be logged to an external Micro SD memory card and sent to a third party system\/data logger via RS-485 output or 0-10V\/4-20mA analog outputs.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

These devices are used for various applications and environments. <\/span><\/span>Common applications include transformer plants, chemical processing, medical equipment testing (MRI, PETSCAN, NMR), commercial grade microwave heating, food and beverage processing, electric vehicle testing and batteries. Since fiber optic sensors use light, the signal is very fast, reliable and not influenced by outside forces such as EMI, RFI, NMR or microwave radiation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
