The black bodies of this series constitute a reference infrared source at low temperature.<\/span> They operate in absolute mode or in differential mode.<\/span> They exhibit very high stability, and are particularly well suited for characterizing and validating the performance of a very wide range of infrared sensors, such as high resolution cameras for thermography and pyrometers.<\/span> The black body emits a known amount of energy for an infinite number of wavelengths.<\/span> The temperature is precisely controlled by a high precision PID controller. It operates in heating and cooling mode (Peltier element).\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The LBBCH has an exceptionally high emissivity of 0.98 \u00b1 0.02. It quickly reaches its target temperature, for example it goes from room temperature to +100 \u00b0 C in 10 minutes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
