This reduces pulsations, friction and mechanical strain on the tubing leading to better pump performance.<\/li>\n<li>The bearings glide over the tubing so gently, that unlike other pumps, it is unnecessary to prevent movement of the tubing by a special fixation. In this manner the lifetime of the tubing is considerably increased.<\/li>\n<li>The pressure on the tubing is delivered individually through an off-center lever and spring made of stainless steel. This assures that a minimal pressure is applied to the tubing which still guarantees good functioning of the pump without unnecessary deformation of the tubing.<\/li>\n<li>The spring also reduces the liquid pressure to approx. 1 bar. This is useful when for any reason the line is blocked.<\/li>\n<li>The asymmetric pump head reduces pulsation.<\/li>\n<li>A high-quality stepping motor together with integrated microprocessor electronics assure a high precision of flow rate with no inertia while turning the pump on and off.<\/li>\n<li>The pump head is made from hard, chemically stable epoxide.<\/li>\n<li>The pump dimensions have been minimized. Therefore, the PRECIFLOW pump is considerably smaller than other products of similar performance. The pump is easy to use and saves space in the laboratory.<\/li>\n<li>Remote control and the possibility of flow integration with the INTEGRATOR option increases the scope of use of the pump in automatically controlled systems (eg. fermentation, chemical synthesis, fraction collection, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>high quality\/price ratio, low use-costs, easy handling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Remote control of the Hiflow peristaltic pump<\/h2>\n<p>Remote control of the speed by external voltage 0-10 V (0-20 or 4-20 mA); ON\/OFF control by external contact or 3-12 V voltage; compatible with other LAMBDA instruments (Omnicoll fraction collector, Minifor fermenter); RS 485 as option.
